At Time Matters Most, we love to create. Posters are near and dear to our heart because there are so many benefits to having posters in your classroom. Combined, we have over 35 years of teaching experience, we have both seen the tremendous impact posters can have on students’ learning.
Why POSTERS?
Posters help your students learn. Posters can help your students retain information faster by providing visuals that help them understand better. This is why having an alphabet chart can be so useful. If your students are learning the sound of a letter, they can look at a picture, say it out loud, and focus on what that beginning sound was. All independently!!! Posters can help your students learn.

Posters can keep your students engaged. As you introduce new concepts to your students, eye- catching posters can keep them engaged in the lesson. If they are up on your classroom wall, your students can look at them as often as they need.
Posters can reinforce concepts. As you use the poster as a tool for learning, it helps your students remember important concepts or skills.
Posters can create a positive classroom atmosphere. Posters can be used to display classroom behaviors, rules and expectations. They can act as a reminder to your students on what you expect of them.
Teachers can present information in a visually appealing and engaging manner by using posters, which helps make the learning process easier for students to understand and retain.

Is there a poster that you are needing in your classroom? We would love to help you. Leave a note in the comments and tell us what you need. We would love to make that happen.
Here are some samples of the posters we have used in our classrooms:
